it’s always weird when you’re following several different people who are frustrated about people on tumblr arguing but you’re not actually following any of the people doing any of the arguing so you just see a bunch of people who are like “hey everybody should really just chill out” and then you’re just like yes i suppose that is good general advice
Literally on the fence between Berkeley and Chapman.
I have no idea what to do.
On one hand, holy cow, I got accepted to the number one public university in the COUNTRY.
On the other hand, Chapman’s small class size works better for me, and it’s closer to home.
On the OTHER other hand, Berkeley is less expensive.
On the last hand, I got a pretty sweet scholarship for Chapman that covers about 80% of my tuition. (Room and board is still way expensive though.)
I am really confused and I have no idea which way to go. I love both of these schools and my heart is 50-50 exactly. Help.
I really like seeing pictures of raves during the day. Y’know…good ‘ol day festivals. Where the sun is shining up in the sky all bright ‘n stuff. And the clouds are all chillin’ ‘n just bein’…y’know, clouds. And you can really see everything. Every little detail. No, no. Not those raves/festivals that are there right before the sun goes down or in the evening. The ones that are in the middle of the goddamn day and carry on into the night.
I don’t know why. It just looks like a whole different life than the ones at night. It looks a lot…happier, brighter, and less…expectant. (Yeah, no one will get that but me.) Whereas your typical night rave is just so…common. Yeah, they’re all different with the same principal. And they all mean different things to different people. And they’re all genuinely AMAZING! [I’ve been to both different times but it’s so much easier to end up at a rave in a club or at a venue when it’s dark outside.] Yeah, it’s really fun to be surrounded by pretty colours, tons of lights, and to just glowstick the night away (possibly under the influence). But, idk… there’s just something about raves during the day that seems more…innocent. And fun-loving. Like a puppy. Nighttime would be the big, bad wolf howling at the moon and daytime would be a cute, adorable, hiccuping puppy. I mean, the energy is just…different.
Maybe it’s just me. -shrug-
i actually sorta agree with this! i love the “beach party” atmosphere they give off, they feel a lot lighter and brighter and happier! though i love both night/indoor and day/outdoor parties/raves/festivals, if given the choice, i’d choose the outdoor daytime beach party rave every time. the best hypothetical scenario actually, would be for it to start outside with that atmosphere, and for it to move inside as the sun goes down. :)
