My dog Scooter, a 7-year-old Westie, started limping on his right hind leg this morning, and it hasn’t stopped.
None of his leg seemed sore, I moved it around and he didn’t growl or show any signs of any discomfort.
I checked his paws and in-between his paw pads for thorns or burrs, and I didn’t find anything. He doesn’t react badly when he puts pressure on his leg when he’s sitting or standing. He just is limping or lifting it up completely when he runs.
A trip to the vet is unlikely because of all my money is going into college things right now. Unless he absolutely needs it! I want to know if I’m getting a good treatment for him or just wasting my money on a checkup.
Can anyone help figure out what’s wrong? He’s a perfectly healthy, energetic dog. I just don’t want my Scooter Pie to be hurting.
Hey, I placed an ask to the SCClocked but I wanted to ask here too. I made I Believe In Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty Was Real necklaces exclusively for the meetup and wandered if it was okay to sell them to those attending the meet up for only a dollar? If it's okay with you. :)
